Placement Test

The Language and Communications Training Unit placement tests take approximately 1.5 hours and are available for eligible participants in the Language and Communications Training Unit courses. Placement tests are online and available year-round.

A list of suggested courses will be provided with the placement results, which are valid for nine months.

A placement test might be taken any time, in preparation for future course registrations, following advice from an instructor or if a participant thinks there has been significant progress or decline in their language skills.
